💰 Investment Routes & Thresholds (2025)
Oman’s Investor Residency has two tiers. Choose real estate, business/companies, or (for retirees) fixed income to qualify.
Tier I — 10-Year Investor Residency
- Invest ≥ OMR 500,000 in an LLC, public joint-stock company, or government bonds, or
- Purchase property valued at ≥ OMR 500,000, or
- Establish a company employing ≥ 50 Omani nationals.
- Residence card fee: OMR 551 (per applicant).
Tier II — 5-Year Investor Residency / Retiree Track
- Invest ≥ OMR 250,000 in an LLC or public joint-stock company, or
- Purchase property valued at ≥ OMR 250,000, or
- Retiree option: Current expatriate residents may qualify with fixed income ≥ OMR 4,000/month.
- Residence card fee: OMR 326 (per applicant).
