Oman’s Investor Residency has two tiers. Choose real estate, business/companies, or (for retirees) fixed income to qualify.

Tier I — 10-Year Investor Residency

  • Invest ≥ OMR 500,000 in an LLC, public joint-stock company, or government bonds, or
  • Purchase property valued at ≥ OMR 500,000, or
  • Establish a company employing ≥ 50 Omani nationals.
  • Residence card fee: OMR 551 (per applicant).

Tier II — 5-Year Investor Residency / Retiree Track

  • Invest ≥ OMR 250,000 in an LLC or public joint-stock company, or
  • Purchase property valued at ≥ OMR 250,000, or
  • Retiree option: Current expatriate residents may qualify with fixed income ≥ OMR 4,000/month.
  • Residence card fee: OMR 326 (per applicant).
